About me

Dinomite Games
CEO & Creative Director
Co-founder and CEO / Creative Director of the indie gamedev-studio Dinomite Games. The studio started at the end of 2016 as just a team of two, where I was in charge of art, story, design, vfx and animations and my partner Johan Albrektson was in charge of tech, code and tech art.In 2021 the studio was acquired by Kinda Brave, which made it possible to expand the team, growing to 13 employees at one point over the years. Founded on a love for hand-drawn action games, cozy working environments and employee sustainability. As we grew the team from a two-person studio to 13 employees, my role shifted from a production-heavy role to CEO / Creative director. Where I had a focus on taking care of the company, handling everything employee-related, Creative Direction and a smaller amount of game production. The studio released the flagship game Go Fight Fantastic in March 2024.

Making the game
Go Fight Fantastic!
Go Fight Fantastic is a flagship title released by Dinomite Games in 2024, published under Kinda Brave Entertainment. Go Fight Fantastic! is a hand-drawn, online and local 1-3 players co-op hack ‘n slash about a rag-tag team of mercenaries and their spacedog captain, trying to save a planet from an alien invasion! When developing the art style for the game, we wanted to make something that stood out in the hack n' slash genere. Something that was arcady, fun, quirky and colorful!
In 2020, the game landed a successful Kickstarter Campaign with a 'Projects We Love'-seal of approval from Kickstarter. The game have been showcased at multiple trade show such as Närcon 2019, Sweden Games Conference 2020 and Gamescom in 2022.The game was also one of the finalists in the Gamesweekberlin Dev Booster Competition, winning the people's choice vote during the show as well as being nominated for Best Debut at the Swedish Games Awards in 2024.

Wherever she sets foot, nature flourishes, and birds begin to sing! Of course, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but working with Lina was truly a pleasure. Having direct contact with her throughout the day often lifted my spirits and filled me with positive energy.I greatly valued our focused discussions, her ability to guide plans toward clear execution, and her openness to exploring new solutions in pursuit of the best possible outcomes.I worked with Lina as the Marketing Manager for Go Fight Fantastic!, a game she developed as part of Dinomite Games—a beautiful and vibrant world with stunning hand-drawn visuals that truly captivated me. It was a project led by Lina and brought to life by her talented team.I was also deeply impressed by the level of organization and structure within the studio, from workflow efficiency to meticulous data management.I'm grateful to still have a personal connection with Lina, and I sincerely hope that one day, we'll have the opportunity to collaborate again.

Pods, Pitches & Lectures
I’ve always found it very exciting to do lectures, pitches and podcasts. Over the years, I’ve had the honor to be invited to speak at various events.I’ve done everything from pitching games on stage in front of judges at Sweden Games Conference and plenty of speed pitches at Nordic Games, to speaking at Donna Day, East Sweden Games, Valla Game Education and many more to talk about Art Direction and how we created the art in Go Fight Fantastic.
One of the more exciting opportunities I’ve had is to have been a guest on the podcast Öppna Världar and Spelmakarna / East Sweden Games. Go and check out their awesome podcasts below!Öppna Världar:

Designing the Kinda Brave Office
Had the honor of designing the HQ for the KindaBrave Group. The job was to design the full offices with three different work spaces, kitchen, social areas, bathrooms etc. Our goal was to use reused furniture to maximize sustainability and was able to fill the space with about 70% reused furniture. The assignment included planning and designing the new office, mood boards, 3D-concepts of the redesigned office, designing custom furniture, placing orders and communicating with the builders.

Loka Crush x Idol
Agency: Åkestam Holst
Client: Spendrups Bryggeri AB (Loka)As a proud sponsor of Idol talent show 2018, Loka wanted to engage with their customers in a more interactive manner. The agency (Åkestam Holst) came up with the idea for a Loka Crush softdrink-fridge fitted with a touch screen, a microphone and a singstar-inspired game in which anyone could get a free Loka Crush by simply trying to the chorus for the company jingle (Livin’ La vida LOKA).We were tasked with coming up with and implement the complete technical solution. Everything from physically modifying several fridges, installing touch screens, computer systems, shotgun microphones, spakers, custom built electronic locks - and most importantly: developing the game. The game itself was created in Unity featuring pitch analysis to compare the player’s vocal pitch with the actual song and awarding on the fly hit percentage to the player. If the player managed to hit above a certain percentage, the fridge would unlock itself, rewarding the player with a choice of free drinks. The electronic lock system was custom created and programmed using a solenoid based piston actuator and an arduino-board interfaced with Unity. The final product was placed both in various Pressbyrån (convenience store) locations as well as in the sponsor space at the TV studio.

Audio R8 Launch
Agency: StudioNOC
Client: AudiLaunching a new super sports car should not be your everyday event. It has to be explosive and immersive while showing off the features of the car itself. The venue, the Photographic Museum (Fotografiska Muséet) in Stockholm was the perfect spot when launching the Audi R8. Huge open spaces with a video projection system wrapping 40 meters of seamless projection area, allowed for installation of impressive floor-to-ceiling LED walls, an entrance tunnel completely wrapped in LED screens, laser projections, electroluminescent wiring and a stage setup for the unveiling - as well as a live performance by Seinabo Sey.We were tasked with producing motion graphics for the projection areas, LED-walls and tunnel. The graphics were themed in Audi R8 black, red and white with signature patterns integrated into the graphics. Multiple video sequences were produced for stand alone installations as well as for use as background graphics during the live performance and timed countdown graphics for the final unveiling of the new Audi R8.© Copyright photos courtesy of StudioNOC (Agency)

The Absolut Company Office
Agency: Happy Tear
Client: The Absolut Company
Designer: Pontus DjanaieffThe Absolut Company has a strong history as an iconic brand, through historical works of art and the iconic shape of the bottle itself. When Happy Tear (agency) and talented designer Pontus Djanieff set out to re-design the offices and capture that iconic look, we were tasked with producing 3D renderings of the offices using floor plans and photos as reference.Working in parallel with the designer, allowed us all to play with ideas and different directions along the way. Thanks to our 3D renderings, the client had a firm idea of what to expect and the resulting photos of the offices after reconstruction clearly show the power of working with pre-production mockups and visualization.© Copyright photos courtesy of Happy Tear (Agency)

Adidas Stella Sport
Agency: Promenad
Client: AdidasLaunching the new Adidas brand Stellasport, Promenad wanted to visualize the action and excitement with a burst of colors, light and layered patterns in an urban street/parkour playground vibe.Using 3D rendering with dramatically sub surface lit materials combined with a concrete, LED-strip and almost playground-rubbery floor surface look we were able to simulate the look and feel of the launch environment and store front (the Stadium store at Hamngatan in central Stockholm). Toning down the in store lighting in the scene allowed extra pop in the self illuminated surfaces. The 3D layout also allowed for the agency to have an accurate sense of the space when it came time to build and implement the content of the concept renderings in real life for the world wide launch. Integrating 3D rendered object into real world photos allowed for a more realistic look given the production timeline as well as to give a clear idea of physical scale of the floor and store front installations.© Copyright photos courtesy of Åkestam Holst Promenad (Agency)
